Fatigue is defined as a state of physical and mental exhaustion that goes beyond tiredness or ennui.
In the human body, fatigue serves as a reminder that we should be focusing on something else. In evolutionary terms, feelings of fatigue were possible there to alert us to our needs, like finding food or shelter.

While we don’t have to hunt for our own food today, fatigue can still set in, and ignoring it can make the problems even bigger.
